SOW supports young BIPOC creatives of color ages 17-24 years old, with a priority on NY Natives.

 
 

Every year SOW holds an Open Call series and accepts 150 new and returning young BIPOC creatives to become SOW Members and join the community. 

SOW Members get free and exclusive access to creative and professional skill-building programming, mentorship, and connections to paid creative opportunities.

Young people interested in applying to be a SOW Member must:

 

1.

Identify as Black, Indigenous, or a person of color

2.

Be between the ages of 17 - 24 years old

3.

Have evidence of a creative practice (portfolio or examples of work)
